Ageism affects everyone. OSSCO©’s vision for an age-diverse society is a place where people of all ages live healthy and active later lives. People continue to stay living in their homes, participate in the activities that they value, and contribute to their communities, for as long as possible, without bias or prejudice.

Grief is a companion that we will all encounter in our life’s journey.
Join us as we explore the many different ways grief might show up in us...physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, or psychologically.
In this workshop, we will debunk some of the myths about grief. We learn how to open up to a conversation, without feeling the need to "fix" anything or everything. This process can be supportive for those experiencing grief, whether it’s dealing with the loss of a pet, a friend or a family member.
In this week’s Tele-learning workshop, OSSCO presents Kelly Broadhurst a Registered Psychotherapist Kelly has served as a Bereavement Counsellor at Dorothy Ley Hospice for the past 5 years, offering personalized one-on-one counselling,
Robert Jessup-Ramsay Hospice Outreach Liaison staff member from Dorothy Ley Hospice . He facilitates peer support grief groups and offers one-on-one support for grieving individuals.
