A Qualitative Look at Serious Legal Problems of Older Adults in Ontario

This comprehensive study, conducted by ACE in collaboration with Justice Canada, sheds light on critical issues impacting seniors in Ontario and offers valuable insights into their lived experiences.

As you know, in 2023, ACE undertook this study to address significant gaps in senior-focused legal data in Ontario. The findings aim to support governments and service providers in crafting policies that better respond to the legal needs of seniors. This work builds on Justice Canada’s Canadian Legal Problems Survey (2021).

The report is now available in both English and French on the Justice Canada website.
