With Ontario’s senior population about to spike, report predicts big demand for home care

Number of people age 75+ in the province forecast to rise by 350,000 in next 5 years

A recent report commissioned by Home Care Ontario, an umbrella organization for home care agencies, argues that beefing up the home-care workforce can help reduce the burden on hospitals and other parts of the health system.
